Flower Trip Drip was created from a love of art, creativity, and self-expression.

Before there was a business, there was a girl from Grenada who loved color, creativity, and making things by hand. Growing up in the Caribbean helped shape the spirit behind Flower Trip Drip — the vibrant colors, relaxed energy, appreciation for nature, and the feeling that life should be enjoyed, not rushed through.

The idea for Flower Trip Drip started with a simple belief: art shouldn't only exist on walls, in homes, or in museums. Art can be experienced every day. It can be worn, shared, and become part of people's lives.

That belief inspired me to begin creating wearable art.

I started by hand-painting and drawing on clothing, especially denim jackets, creating pieces for myself and wearing them out into the world. People would stop me to ask about them, compliment the artwork, and want pieces of their own. What began as a creative outlet slowly grew into something bigger and eventually became Flower Trip Drip.

Today, Flower Trip Drip offers handmade boho clothing, patchwork overalls, festival-inspired fashion, bucket hats, artisan accessories, and unique pieces selected for their creativity, comfort, and individuality. Many of the styles are inspired by the freedom, creativity, and self-expression associated with 70s fashion, where personal style was less about following trends and more about being yourself.

Creative Expression and Wearable Art

One of the things that inspires Flower Trip Drip is the idea of bringing together different colors, patterns, materials, and influences to create something unique. I've always enjoyed putting things together in unexpected ways and seeing them become something beautiful in the end.

That's one of the reasons I appreciate patchwork clothing. Beyond its visual appeal, I admire the creativity involved in taking different fabrics and materials and turning them into something new. Many patchwork pieces also help reduce waste by giving leftover materials a new purpose, which adds another layer of meaning to the finished product.

To me, fashion is another form of art. It's an opportunity to express creativity, individuality, and personality through what we wear every day.
